Data protection and responsible AI proficiency report

Where do professionals get it right, and where do they struggle? This page gathers the anonymous averages from DPCert open assessments, by certification and by domain, and updates itself as new results come in.

The first data is on its way

A certification enters the report once it has at least 30 results. Until then, the methodology below shows how the numbers will be calculated.

Not in the report yet

  • RAIF: 29 results to go
  • RAIP: 30 results to go
  • RAIL: 30 results to go
  • DPAI: 30 results to go
  • AUDAI: 30 results to go
  • RAI-X: 30 results to go

Where the data comes from

The numbers come from DPCert open assessments: free 20-question practice tests with answers and explanations that anyone can take without an account. Each assessment belongs to a certification and each question belongs to one of its domains, so we can see which subjects people handle best.

How to read it

The overall average is the mean percentage of correct answers. The domain average adds up correct answers and divides by the questions in that domain, so a domain with more questions counts for more.

The bands are indicative and are there to guide study. A 20-question practice test does not predict a certification exam result, and these numbers are not pass rates.

People who take a free practice test chose to take it. This is a sample of those people, not a portrait of every professional on the market.

Methodology

  1. Source: results of the open assessments for each certification. Certification exams and team assessments are left out.
  2. Minimum: a certification only appears with 30 results or more.
  3. Anonymity: the page shows aggregates only, never an individual score, name or email.
  4. Calculation: simple mean of percentages for the overall average, and total correct answers over total questions for each domain.
  5. Domains: the same as the published blueprint of each certification, in the same order.
  6. Updates: the page recalculates the numbers every hour.
