Credentials in Responsible AI and data protection.
DPCert Global Institute certifies professionals in Responsible AI, AI governance, data protection and AI audit through formal online exams. A DPCert credential attests, publicly and verifiably, that its holder has demonstrated the knowledge the published exam measures, from an entry-level credential to practitioner, leader and auditor levels.

What we hold to
- 01
Earned by exam, not by attendance
A credential is earned by passing an exam that measures what you know about laws such as the EU AI Act, GDPR and LGPD, frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001, and the practice around them. Training is a good way to prepare; it is never a requirement, and DPCert sells no mandatory course.
- 02
Published before it is charged
Every exam publishes its domains, weights, length and passing score before anyone pays. A candidate should know what is being measured before deciding to be measured.
- 03
No renewal fees. No CPE quotas.
A DPCert credential stays valid unless it is revoked. There is no renewal cycle, no annual maintenance fee and no continuing-education quota to keep what you have already earned.
- 04
Verifiable by anyone
Every credential has a public ID, a QR code and a signed Open Badges 3.0 badge. Any employer, client or recruiter can check it in seconds, without an account and without contacting us.
How a credential is earned
Exams are taken online, at any time, in English, Portuguese or Spanish; the website and support are in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Each certification costs USD 100, including the entry-level Responsible AI Foundation (RAIF), whose 20-question open assessment is free. Each exam is drawn from a larger item bank, so no two exams are the same. The result comes the moment the exam is submitted, and the credential is issued immediately on passing, unless the exam records exits from its window above the limit: in that case, it is issued within 3 business days after review.
Training and certification, kept apart
An institution that certifies data protection professionals is judged by how it protects its own exam and its own data. DPCert does not require any course, and training partners never see exam questions. The exam is the same for every candidate, whoever prepared them. Our process is designed with reference to ISO/IEC 17024 principles: impartiality, separation of training and certification, and a documented scheme for each credential. We are not accredited, and we say so.
How the exams are built
A published blueprint by domain, double-key review before any question is used, item statistics, an exposure rule, retirement of outdated questions and a passing score with no curve.
